A Literary Exchange

“On 9 May 2026, SehAranya Oriental Research Centre (SORC) marked a significant pre-launch literary interaction with Shri Shankar Ji Singh, noted Hindi poet, author and Regional Transport Officer (RTO), at his residence in Saharanpur.” The meeting provided an opportunity for a meaningful exchange of ideas on literature, Indian knowledge traditions and contemporary intellectual engagement. On the occasion, Dr. Akash Chanda presented his forthcoming research work Bharat: Vishwa Sabhyataon Se Purv—Gyan-Vigyan ki Matra Bhumi to Shri Singh.

The interaction was further enriched by a warm exchange of books. Shri Shankar Ji Singh presented a selection of his published works to Dr. Akash Chanda, reflecting his literary journey as a Hindi poet and author. The exchange symbolised a shared commitment to literature, scholarship and the preservation and dissemination of India’s intellectual and cultural traditions.
