Dr. Akash Chanda is an Indologist, author, educator, and Founder-President of SehAranya Oriental Research Centre (SORC), an independent research institution dedicated to the scientific study, preservation, and dissemination of India’s ancient knowledge traditions.

Completed India’s first doctoral research exclusively devoted to the Vedantic English poetry of Swami Ramtirtha (1873–1906).
This pioneering work established a significant milestone in Indian literary and Indological scholarship and opened a new avenue for research into Swami Ramtirtha’s English writings and Vedantic philosophy.
